Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

1. Service Description

KeepIt Digital converts physical optical media (CDs, DVDs, data discs) into digital files and offers AI video enhancement services. We also accept direct video file uploads for AI enhancement.

2. Ownership & Responsibility

By submitting an order, you confirm that you own the material on the discs or uploaded files, or have legal authorization to convert them. You agree that no harm will be done with the converted content. KeepIt Digital is not responsible for verifying ownership of submitted media.

3. Privacy & Data Handling

Your media is handled securely throughout the conversion process. We do not view, copy, or distribute your content beyond what is necessary for conversion. All source files and converted outputs are permanently deleted after your download links expire (7 days). Face blur is available as an optional privacy feature for video content.

4. Best-Effort Conversion

Disc conversion is performed on a best-effort basis. Some discs may be too damaged or degraded to read. You will not be charged for any disc we cannot successfully convert.

5. AI Enhancement

AI video enhancement uses outsourced GPU processing and results vary depending on source quality. Enhancement processing can take 9–20 hours per disc or video. We do not guarantee specific quality outcomes from AI enhancement.

6. Payment

Pricing is confirmed before processing begins. You will only be charged for successfully converted discs. Failed conversions are not billed.

7. Downloads

Completed files are delivered through secure, time-limited download links. Links expire after 7 days. It is your responsibility to download your files before the links expire. We may be able to regenerate expired links upon request, but this is not guaranteed.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KeepIt Digital and United AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this service, including but not limited to loss of original media, loss of data, or dissatisfaction with conversion quality.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order in question.

Physical media is handled with care, but we cannot guarantee against loss or damage during shipping or processing. We recommend keeping backup copies of irreplaceable media.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.
